I own a HK Auro 2 for years now, still works and sounds great. Needed to get music into a different room, bought this new version 4, it also sounds fantastic. I listen to bass-heavy music, it this unit does not disappoint. Like most audio equipment (especially new speakers), it sounds better after ~100 hours break-in time.

I placed Aura 4 in the center of my man cave which is one big open room. Couldn't be happier with the sound quality and the power. The lights are really cool but I would have bought this with or without them. All my HK purchases have been fantastic over the years. You can't go wrong with Harman Kardon.

Note to add: The dome prevents the bass from carrying to the floor above the stereo which is really nice in my house. I can rock out without angering my wife is in her office directly above.

I am wondering why this speaker received so many 5-star reviews. I find the sound mediocre at best. I previously had a Logitech Z537 that sounded much better with much better bass but the subwoofer stopped working. The bass on this speaker is lacking and not impressive. The light show is ok and indicates when the speaker is on but it's mostly just fluff. The power button and up/down volume buttons are difficult to see especially if the room light is low - I had to put labels beside the buttons so I know where they are. Because of the difficulty in seeing the buttons, this speaker would really benefit from a remote control which I don't believe there is one available. For the price, I am unimpressed and underwhelmed and may eventually go back to Logitech - the bass was much better, with a more powerful sound, and the volume control was much easier to use. I really don't get why so many people say that the sound from this speaker is so good. Not in my opinion . . .

I spotted this particular device at my friends house a couple years ago. I heard great music coming from somewhere in the house, but had no idea it was coming from this device. Hers was white and didn’t have the light feature, but it was still great. I always said I’d buy one and it stayed in the back of my mind. Fast forward 2 years later and here we are. The Bass, The Clarity, The Crispness, The Volume Range, The Look, Connectivity, The Color, The Ease of Setup, The Size, and Value…. EVERYTHING is just perfect!! Great Purchase for sure!!!

The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 4 has the best sound quality I've experienced, but I wish it didn't make a sound when turning on. There's barely noticeable lag with aux which is good for watching movies and producing music. I noticed some buzzing from the subwoofer. It could be due to the speakers not sitting completely flat on the table. Overall, great performance.

The speaker itself has excellent build quality and is very pleasing to look at. The sound is generally good, pretty mid tier for speakers around this price point. Though, that's somewhat expected when you’re getting a speaker with a unique look.

Where it falls short is the connectivity. I can’t for the life of me maintain a stable bluetooth connection with it. There’s constant stuttering and packet loss that ruins the listening experience. I’ve tried keeping my phone near it, disconnecting other bluetooth devices, and making sure my WiFi is good. Nothing works.

So while it’s aesthetically pleasing, it falls short doing the one job it has.

The speaker indeed is absolutely beautiful & just like the description, but I didn’t get a brand new speaker, it was very obvious that it was an opened box because the seal labels were misplaced and had marks that someone else opened, also the speaker had a sticker on the glass, I’m posting the picture where is very clear that someone try to rip off the sticker from the glass.
I’m still debating on returning the speaker because sometimes the sound is off and the Bluetooth is falling, my phone get disconnected from the speaker when I’m playing music so I’m not sure if I should return it to exchange it for a new one.

The speaker looks stylish and goes along well with the rest of decor in my living room. It works great as a home audio system, and the sound fills up the room. The dancing colorful lights to music is a nice touch too. Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone was easy and I didn't have any issue with choppy audio, disconnection, etc. One big plus about this system is that it's intuitive and easy to use. However, Depends on how you use it, some drawbacks of the Aura Studio 4: Use of Bluetooth 4.2, which is an older technology; No RCA, HDMI, or WiFi connectivity; does not appear to have ability for you to adjust the treble/bass balance.
